Job description

Cash In on Your Expertise: High-Paying 6-Month Millwright Contract

Are you a ticketed Millwright who likes to drop in, make serious money, and crush complex mechanical problems? We have an immediate, lucrative 6-month contract open at a massive heavy industrial manufacturing plant in SE Edmonton. This is a high-speed, high-stakes environment where your ability to keep massive production machinery running will be heavily rewarded. If you thrive on troubleshooting heavy hydraulics and mechanical systems and want to bank serious cash on a predictable short-term gig, keep reading.

Overview:
Location: SE Edmonton, AB
Job Type: Temporary (6-Month Contract)
Compensation: $49.91/hour (+ $0.60/hour night shift premium)

Advantages
Premium Hourly Rate: Pull in a massive $49.91 per hour right out of the gate, plus an extra $0.60 per hour when covering night shifts.

Guaranteed Term: Lock in six solid months of dependable, full-time hours to bank serious money without the uncertainty of day-to-day dispatch boards.

Flawless Payroll: Never chase your paycheck. You will receive reliable weekly direct deposits every single Friday through Randstad.

Convenient Commute: Situated right in Southeast Edmonton, saving you from brutal out-of-town drives, remote camp isolation, or gridlock traffic.

Uncompromising Safety: Operate in a facility that actually enforces its standard operating procedures, ensuring you return home intact after every shift.

Responsibilities
Heavy Equipment Maintenance: Execute aggressive preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance across massive industrial hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drives.

Rapid Diagnostics: Jump on unexpected mechanical failures, troubleshooting and repairing heavy machinery swiftly to drastically cut down costly production downtime.

Precision Installations: Tear down, relocate, and rebuild heavy equipment utilizing intricate blueprints, laser alignment gear, and advanced precision measuring tools.

Cross-Trade Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with machine operators and other tradesmen while rigorously documenting all maintenance work and parts usage.

Safety Leadership: Strictly execute comprehensive Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and rigorous hazard assessments before touching any energized machinery.

Qualifications
Active Ticket: You absolutely must hold a valid Alberta Journeyperson Millwright Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal designation.

Heavy Industrial Pedigree: We need a proven track record of maintaining and overhauling equipment specifically within heavy manufacturing or large-scale industrial plants.

Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of complex power transmission, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. (If you have basic welding and fabrication skills, that is a major bonus).

Shift Flexibility: You must be physically capable of handling heavy industrial demands and fully willing to rotate into night shifts as required by the production schedule.

Problem-Solving Chops: Elite analytical skills to diagnose root-cause failures, paired with the clear communication skills needed to explain fixes to the broader production team.

Summary
Ready to Lock In Your Next Gig?
Don't let this highly lucrative contract slip by. If you have the tickets and the heavy industrial experience, we want to get your resume in front of the plant manager immediately.
