Senior DevOps Specialist

Position Description

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Specialist who can architect and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will lead the design of automated CI / CD pipelines, champion security best practices, and build robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application reliability.

You will work closely with development teams to streamline workflows, optimize the software delivery lifecycle, and proactively address performance, cost, and security challenges. A passion for continuous improvement and staying ahead of emerging technologies is essential.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• . Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, leveraging best practices for security, performance, and cost optimization.
• . Lead the development and implementation of automated CI / CD pipelines, fostering a culture of continuous integration and delivery within the team.
• . Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure.
• . Champion security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring the protection of sensitive financial data.
• . Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps methodologies, streamline workflows, and optimize the software development lifecycle.
• . Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• . Conduct research and development on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our DevOps practices and infrastructure.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
