Description

We are looking for a skilled networking specialist to join our MIS team in Burnaby, BC! The MIS team is responsible for managing Fortinet's IT infrastructure in Western Canada and contains more than 60 skilled IT professionals.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all DC networks
  • Design and deploy automation system to scale out Fortinet network across multiple DCs.
  • Create / update / maintain Fortinet DC network standards
  • Apply network changes per change request
  • Work with different ISP / Vendors for network peering
  • Providing daily support for all DC networks
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure continuity of network service.
  • Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, participates in developing permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation.
  • Resolving emergency incidents.

Job Experience Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related field(Master and above preferred)
  • 7+ years network experience in large scale networking environment.
  • Familiar with dynamic routing protocols : BGP and OSPF (CCIE preferred)
  • Familiar with network automation : Ansible, Saltstack and python
  • Familiar with Fortinet security products
  • Familiar with change management process and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
