Job Title : Labour & Employment Lawyer

Location : Ontario, Quebec

Job Overview : We are a boutique firm specializing in labour and employment law, seeking a lawyer to provide legal advice and represent clients across a range of workplace and employment matters.

This role also involves contributing to business development and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Advise clients on employment standards, human rights, contracts, workplace policies, and health and safety matters.
  • Represent clients in collective bargaining, mediation, arbitration, and civil litigation.
  • Draft legal documents including opinions, pleadings, and policies.
  • Appear before administrative tribunals like the Human Rights Tribunal and the Labour Relations Board.

Qualifications :

  • LL.B or J.D. with strong academic performance.
  • At least 5 years of experience practicing law.
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or Quebec.
  • Bilingual (French and English) proficiency is required.

Skills :

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
