What is this opportunity?

Siemens Electrical Products division, is seeking a Residential Product Manager to manage the complete product life cycle from concept to product completion of residential low voltage distribution products (loadcenters, residential breakers, AFCIs / GFCIs, etc.)

What will you do?

  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to design, testing, manufacturing, to product end of life for residential low voltage distribution products (loadcenters, residential breakers, AFCIs / GFCIs, etc.)
  • Define go-to-market and pricing strategies to drive profitability and market shares
  • Gather voice of the customer and accumulate market knowledge to drive portfolio improvements
  • Drive successful execution of new initiatives and ideas with sales, marketing, engineering, operations, affiliates, etc.
  • Maintain technical info on eCommerce and quotation tools
  • Provide market forecasts to support supply chain planning
  • Manage product quality issues to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Provide inputs for codes and standards developments
  • Conduct product training for internal and external customers
  • Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office Products, Tableau
  • Fluent in English, French is an asset

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is a plus, preferably Electrical Engineering. Any other relevant experience in the electrical field is also considered.
  • At least 2 years of Product Management experience is an asset
  • Ability to read P&L, manage budgets, establish business strategies, and measure ROI
  • Thorough understanding of North American codes and standards (CSA, UL) applicable to the portfolio
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter and customer focus oriented
