Project Manager - ERP Migration
Location : Markham / Hybrid (Markham / Hybrid)
Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the migration from JDE (JD Edwards) to SAP . This role will require strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful transition.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with ERP migrations and a solid understanding of SAP modules related to Logistics and Warehouse Management.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and expectations for the ERP migration.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of the migration project.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to gather necessary data, conduct system assessments, and perform gap analysis between JDE and SAP.
- Lead regular meetings and communication channels to provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate decision-making among stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party consultants involved in the migration process.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure end-users are prepared for the transition to SAP.
- Oversee data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Document project activities, outcomes, and lessons learned for future reference and continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Proven experience managing ERP migration projects, preferably involving SAP implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to Logistics and Warehouse Management.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
