Underwriting Assistant Remote
Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join their remote team.
This role is essential in delivering superior quality commitments and fostering a "One Stop Shop" environment for broker partners.
As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be responsible for servicing broker partners' needs in a timely and informed manner, continually challenging the status quo to provide premier underwriting service.

Responsibilities :
- Broker Relationship Management : Deliver superior quality commitments and foster a "One Stop Shop" environment for broker partners.
- Service Delivery : Provide timely and informed service to broker partners, challenging status quo to ensure premier underwriting service.
- Broker Survey Influence : Strongly influence the results of the Broker Survey through dedicated steps taken throughout the year.
- Integrity and Representation : Exhibit a high degree of integrity when representing Broker / Aviva and while interacting with team members and the leadership team.
- Service Focus : Focus on servicing the existing book of business and supporting the maintenance of service level agreements.
- Data Management : Perform data entry for new business, create Salesforce accounts, create portal submissions, and document new submissions.
- Business Tracking : Maintain new business trackers ensuring a high level of data accuracy.
- Documentation and Processing : Process new business binds, ensure proper storage of documentation and communication, and follow up on outstanding risk items.
- Report Ordering : Order MVR, Auto+, and Hits reports for the business.
- Risk Follow-ups : Complete risk follow-ups with broker partners and adhere to our abeyance system framework.
- Collaboration : Work closely with leadership on work distribution, triage, and SLA data builds.
