How you'll make a difference?
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for creating and executing testing procedures to ensure the software for our FLASH navigation system meets quality standards.
What will your duties and responsibilities be?
The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties as tasks as needed and assigned.
- Ensure the timely delivery of safe and effective medical device system and software in the field
- Work closely with the team and stakeholders to understand the software requirement specifications and design
- Execute test cases and create detailed test records
- Identify, analyze, and report bugs with detailed descriptions
- Work closely with the team to support the analysis of any reported bugs
- Effectively manage timeline to meet the project deadline
- Communicate any issues or potential issues, including schedule slips, to peers on time
What skills and experience will you need?
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and / or ability required for this position.
Education / Certifications :
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent
Experience, Skills, Knowledge and / or Abilities :
- Hands-on experience in testing customer-facing software, preferably in the medical device field
- Experience in conducting functional, integration, system, user acceptance, exploratory and regression testing
- Attention to details and good work ethics
- Healthy obsession over product quality
- Commitment to project timeline
What qualifications are preferred?
The education, knowledge, skills and / or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge and / or Abilities :
- Understanding of software development lifecycle such as Waterfall and Agile / SCRUM
- Experience using defect tracking software such Azure DevOps, JIRA, ClearQuest
