Shipping Receiving Clerk

Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Receiving Clerk for a Temporary role in Ajax, ON, offering a competitive salary of $30.

88 per hour. The ideal candidate will manage supplier shipments, handle SAP data entry, and ensure timely processing of outbound shipments.

This role requires flexibility for day and afternoon shifts, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Pay rate : $30.88 / hour.
• Location : Ajax, ON
• Shifts : Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm and 3 : 30pm-11 : 00pm
• Job type : Temporary Full-time

Responsibilities :

• Receive on-dock supplier shipments and accurately enter receipts into SAP, including serial numbers and batch numbers.
• Load / unload trucks and package outbound shipments for timely delivery, ensuring all necessary paperwork is included.
• Inspect products to ensure conformity to paperwork and travelers, escalating any discrepancies as necessary.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and pass a criminal record check.
• 5 years of shipping / receiving experience, with a strong understanding of shipping protocols and safety standards.
• Proven problem-solving skills and experience / exposure to lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Availability for both day (7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM) and afternoon (3 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM) shifts.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
