Key Responsibilities

• Cleanliness : Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, shelves, and surfaces throughout the store.
• Trash Removal : Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated areas, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Restocking Supplies : Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials in washrooms and designated cleaning areas.
• Sanitization : Using disinfectants and sanitizers to clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are hygienic and pleasant for customers and staff.
• Customer Service Orientation : Interacting courteously with customers when performing cleaning duties during store hours, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining a positive image of the store.
• Attention to Detail : Pay special attention to high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, countertops, and other surfaces to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of germs.
• Organization : Keep all areas of the store, including backrooms and storage areas, tidy and well-organized.
• Safety : Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
• Efficiency : Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently to minimize disruption to store operations, particularly during operating hours.
• Communication : Report any maintenance issues, damages, or cleanliness concerns promptly to store management.
• Flexibility : Adapt to changing cleaning needs and schedules, including availability for evening and weekend cleaning shifts as required.
• Quality Control : Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store, participating in regular inspections and addressing any deficiencies promptly.
• Perform other related duties assigned from time to time
