Health & Beauty Specialist

The successful candidate can expect to be scheduled 32-40 hours / week including AM / PM, week day and weekend shifts. This role may be scheduled Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 6 : 30pm

Regular Store Hours :

Mon Sat 8 : 00am 8 : 00pm

Sun 9 : 00am 7 : 00pm

HEALTH & BEAUTY TEAM MEMBER

As part of our Health & Beauty team, you promote clean beauty choices by educating our customers on the benefits of natural health and beauty products, making recommendations based on specific needs, and assisting customers discover a fresh perspective on healthy & beauty.

As a product knowledge expert, you know how to help customers understand what combination products will work best for them to achieve their health & beauty goals.

A passion for and experience with natural beauty products including make up and skin care will enhance your success when assisting customers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

Create a comfortable and inviting space by giving a warm hello! to our customers as they approach our health & beauty department for support.

We like building meaningful connections with our new and regular customers and this is an important first step.

• Assist customers with their specific needs asking them questions to learn more about what their journey looks like and providing suggestions on how best to meet their goals.
• Although you may already have an impressive background in health & beauty, you will be able to participate in regular product knowledge trainings so you’re always prepared to answer questions and provide informed recommendations.
• We understand health & beauty is a very personal experience so it is why we explain the basics with our suggested plan and recommended add-ons that may complement and support our customers’ goals.
• Use your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays.
• In other words, you will help others on their journey of health & beauty, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be a great team player and have fun!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

• Passion for people, health & beauty and our products
• Strong knowledge of make up, skincare, clean health & beauty brands (certification an asset)
• You are outgoing and upbeat and thrive in a vibrant customer service environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of merchandising basics - store standards, displays, stock management
• Innate curiosity and love of learning
• Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing
