Job Overview :

As the Partner Manager for Acorn PLMS, you will be crucial in developing, managing, and expanding our partner ecosystem. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure our partners are fully equipped to promote, sell, and integrate Acorn PLMS into their offerings.

Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth of Acorn PLMS by driving revenue through strategic partnerships and expanding our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Partnership Development :
  • Identify and onboard new partners that align with Acorn PLMS’s strategic business goals, focusing on Learning Management Systems (LMS) and corporate training solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to drive mutual success and expand market reach.
  • Develop and implement joint business plans with partners, including co-marketing and co-selling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Account Management :
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Acorn PLMS and our partners, ensuring a seamless communication flow and addressing partner needs promptly.
  • Regularly assess partner performance, providing insights and strategies for improvement to ensure they meet their sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Ensure partners are well-trained and provided with the necessary resources to effectively market and sell Acorn PLMS, including product demos, sales materials, and technical support.
  • Sales Enablement :
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute partner-focused sales enablement programs.
  • Equip partners with comprehensive knowledge of Acorn PLMS’s features, benefits, and competitive advantages to help them position and sell the product effectively.
  • Assist partners throughout the sales cycle, offering support in lead generation, proposal creation, product demonstrations, and closing deals.
  • Attend industry events and conduct sessions.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management :
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms that align with Acorn PLMS’s business objectives.
  • Oversee the contract renewal process, ensuring continuity of partnerships and compliance with all agreed-upon terms.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution :
  • Align partnership strategies with the overall goals of Acorn PLMS, focusing on market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with partners to drive adoption of Acorn PLMS in key markets, including corporate training, education, and professional development sectors.
  • Identify and explore new partnership opportunities that will enhance Acorn PLMS’s market position and drive innovation.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting :
  • Provide detailed reports and updates to senior management on the progress and impact of partnerships, offering recommendations for optimization.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges in the partnership process, ensuring smooth execution and mutual benefit.
  • Market Research and Analysis :
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform partnership strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify potential partners and assess the viability of new partnership opportunities in the LMS and PLMS markets.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or sales within the SaaS industry, with a focus on learning management or corporate training software.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, particularly in the LMS and PLMS domains.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple partner relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Previous experience working with channel partners, resellers, or system integrators in the education or corporate training space.
  • Familiarity with Acorn PLMS or similar platforms in the learning management ecosystem.
