We are looking for a compassionate and caring *LPN *with a passion for the elderly to temporarily join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care / Assisted Living Facility in *Kamloops, British Columbia. *
- Contract : 2-3 months *Shorter term contract can be discussed!
- Locations : * Kamloops, B.C.
- Start Date : *ASAP
- Compensation : *
- $45.00 per hour *+ travel allowance + accommodation + weekly allowance*
- Responsibilities and duties : *
- Performs assessments.
- Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
- Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
- Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications : *
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
