Our Client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the food manufacturing industry, dedicated to producing high-quality food products is looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Technologist to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in a food safety and Quality Assurance Technologist role, ideally within a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) setting.

The QA Lead will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities during the night shift, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead quality assurance on the night shift, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs in compliance with GFSI standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and address any quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality assurance activities.
• Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and performance to senior management.

Qualifications :

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a food safety and quality assurance role, preferably in a GFSI setting.
• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field (considered an asset).
• HACCP certified.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively on the night shift.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
