Adecco is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Service Technician position with a well-established North American company specializing in the manufacturing of wellheads, gate valves, check valves, ball valves, and surface safety in Edmonton, AB.

In this role, you will assume responsibility for product installation, field support and maintenance, equipment repair, customer property management, and equipment rentals.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Execute field service requirements such as installation and maintenance of wellhead equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a positive manner.
  • Maintain assigned service unit, including tools and spare component requirements.
  • Provide customer property repair as required.
  • Maintain in-depth service records and reports.
  • Provide support to sales and customer relations activities as required.
  • Commit workplace Health and Safety by conducting all operations in a safe manner and following all company procedures and HSE policies.
  • As required, travel to other branches to acquire training and assist field locations.
  • Assist with product assembly as required.
  • Perform other related duties such as shop and vehicle maintenance as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of two years of industry-related experience, preferably within thermal wellhead installation and maintenance.
  • H2S, Fall Arrest, First Aid, and CSO Training.
  • Folding Boom Truck Crane, CraneSafe or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Service-oriented with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently without direct supervision and as part of a team.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 driver's license; must be able to provide a current driver's abstract.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
