You as a Sr. VDC Coordinator will :
- Collaborate with VDC Leadership team to build a BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy
- Understand the owner BIM / Employers Information Requirements (EIR) and use a custom suite of software tools to prepare model-based deliverables
- Have the freedom and creativity to develop project specific workflows that utilize BIM data for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling (4D), coordination, field layout, and facilitates management.
- Use your 3D Modeling skills to model Architectural, Structural, MEP and Construction Logistic elements as needed for representation, visualization, and coordination.
- Facilitate reality capture, utilizing LiDAR, Drones and 360 Photography for model integration, QA / QC, analysis, and visualization
- Participate in software testing, R&D initiatives and continue personal and professional growth
- Develop solutions with the project stakeholders by performing model-based design and constructability review, clash detection and visualization
- Generate drawings and construction documents from the BIM using standardized details and workflows
Is this the right role for you?
- You have a University degree / Technology Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, M&E or related field.
- You have a minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience with focus on BIM Management, modeling and technologies (preferably on-site).
- You have a high level of knowledge interpreting design and construction drawings.
- You are certified in RPAS (Drone) Operator, or able to achieve the certification.
- Advanced experience in Revit, AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D and Navisworks is required.
- Autodesk BIM360, Revizto, Synchro Pro, and any BIM-related training or certifications are considered an asset.
