Job descriptionAssist employees with day-to-day technical issues, including software installation, password resets, and system access. Conduct basic training for end-users on IT tools and best practices. Perform routine maintenance on IT systems, including updates and patches for operating systems and applications. Ensure antivirus software and other security tools are up-to-date and functioning properly. Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. Manage inventory of IT hardware and peripherals. Coordinate repairs or replacements for faulty equipment. Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, and other connectivity tools. Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues for end-users. Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions. Update and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for common IT tasks. Work closely with cross-functional departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving IT systems and processes.
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to ensure the successful operation of IT systems across the business, which includes support for the distribution centre, head office and all retail store locations . This role involves troubleshooting hardware / software issues, maintaining IT equipment, and assisting users with technical inquiries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL SUPPORT :
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary.

NICE TO HAVE
Previous experience supporting a retail business.
