The Gas Supply Planning team is responsible for developing the portfolio of natural gas supply, storage, and transportation for Enbridge Gas Inc.

s 3.9 million customers. In this role you will combine both strategic long-term gas supply planning outlook as regulatory accountabilities.

This position provides an opportunity to develop natural gas commercial and market expertise as well as a view to the greater organizational strategy and support for Regulatory applications.

What You Will Do :

Act as a liaison between Gas Supply and Regulatory Affairs for all regulatory-related matters. Responsibility for development and coordination of strategy on regulatory filings and initiatives.

Lead the Gas Supply regulatory process of the 5-year Gas Supply Plan and subsequent Annual Gas Supply Updates, including preparation of evidence and testifying at the OEB as required;

lead the regulatory process on behalf of Gas Supply for other regulatory applications.

Act as a project management resource for the Gas Supply department. This includes leading cross-functional teams in Energy Services and other departments, as necessary.

Work with the Gas Supply procurement team to ensure natural gas commercial and market activities are appropriately considered as part of EGI’s Gas Supply planning function

Ad hoc support of day-to-day Gas Supply planning activities. This includes activities such as evaluation and recommendation of portfolio assets and supporting other Gas Supply procurement activities, as required.

Who You Are :

A related university degree (Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or Finance) or an equivalent combination of formal education and related experience.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive related experience in the energy, utility, or related business or modelling experience.

Solid understanding of regulatory, energy markets, public policy and / or commercial / finance.

A strategic mentality, ability to influence senior leadership and coordinate with cross functional leaders across different groups.

Working Conditions

Normal office working conditions with overtime during peak periods.

Travel required up to 10%.

This role may also require response to after-hours calls on occasion.
