Senior Vice-President ( Financial Services)

SUMMARY

The Senior Vice-President is a division leader responsible for business development, cultivating client relations, and providing strategic counselling.

This role requires the ability to build business strategy that supports Leger's growth and client's objectives, and experience in leading a high-performing team.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong networking ability, excellent client management skills, leadership experience and a thorough understanding of the market research industry, with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities and challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage the division's budget; develop business development strategy in collaboration with sales to grow Leger's opportunities in targeted sectors.
  • Develop new client opportunities by attending industry events, responding to RFPs, supervising, and presenting service proposals to elicit opportunities for discussion;

be a Leger brand ambassador and seek out opportunity to raise Leger product awareness.

  • Expand the scope of existing client accounts by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients; managing strategic, large-scale, or complex projects, including delivering insights, strategic recommendations and thought leadership.
  • Managing Lead and develop the team, optimizing resources to enhance team effectiveness and engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related subject. MBA is a strong asset.
  • 15 years' experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry in a senior management position
  • 15 years' experience managing a results-driven team in a comparable industry.
  • 15 years' hands-on experience with research techniques, methodologies, and advanced analytic solutions

  • Strong Client Management skills : Adept at building and nurturing client relationships, understanding client needs and turning them into business opportunities.
  • Strong Networking capabilities : Ability to create and facilitate forums to develop new alliances and identifies areas to build strategic relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities : Ability to manage and mentor teams, and actively participate in the broader corporate strategy.
  • Strong financial acumen : To cost, plan, allocate, and track financial resources for research projects cost-effectively.
