We are looking for an change leader who is passionate about driving software and game quality in our EA Sports FC products.

You will provide project portfolio leadership for the Quality Verification (QV) department, made up of Management, Quality Design, Engineering and Analytics.

This multi-discipline department is a component of the development and live services for our EA Sports FC franchise. You will report to the Program Manager for EA Sports FC QV.

You are right for this role if you are passionate about solving difficult problems. You can collaborate, often across departments and with peers or partners in other parts of the business across different geographical locations.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support the exploration and creation of short and long-term improvement and transformational projects
  • Manage the end-to-end planning, implementation, and sustainment of projects to achieve and maintain target measurable outcomes.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and challenges of projects to leadership and partners.
  • Facilitate and align different partner teams (Quality Verification, Engineering, and Analytics) on important project and portfolio decisions and risk resolution processes
  • Monitor and direct project portfolio performance to meet team goals and strategy
  • Provide support and implement improvements to the project portfolio and change management processes
  • Mentor and facilitate learning opportunities for team members across different levels on change and project management practices

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Project Management, Business Analyst or relevant experience
  • 5+ years experience creating detailed project progress reports, risk analysis, and decision recommendations
  • 3+ years experience building relationships, engaging with, and facilitating decision-making processes with leadership groups
  • Experience effectively communicating (both verbally and written) with audiences across different levels of the organization
  • Experience driving and managing change (process and culture) across large diverse teams and using continuous improvement techniques (e.

g. Lean 6 Sigma, CMMI, Evidence-Base Management etc.) with relevant metrics to measure progress.

Experience with modern software development, software quality, and product delivery practices is a bonus

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) :

$115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI / QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental / adoption leave), extended health / dental / vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.

Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
