Senior UI Artist

We are currently looking add Senior User Interface Artists to our already amazing team. As a "Snowmie" artist, you will use your creative skills to help our client studios to bring their games to realization.

You will use your passion for games, insatiable curiosity, and versatility to work on a variety of projects and across all aspects of game development.

Some of the cool stuff you'll be doing :

• Working closely with client studios to bring their games to realization
• Work with UX designers to supplement designs and create beautiful art assets to specification
• Create and follow art style guides for user interfaces and marketing art
• Provide constructive feedback to teammates
• Format, optimize and export assets for integration
• Work with designers and developers in engine to implement UI screens and components accurately
• Collaborating with stakeholders to realize and iterate on visual development of interfaces, assets and marketing art
• Building a solid relationship with your game development peers in-house and around the world
• Supporting your team mates to accomplish goals

What you'll bring to the table :

• 5+ years professional experience in game UI or interactive graphic design.
• Shipped game title(s)
• Experience working directly with external clients
• Ability to match and work in multiple art styles with little iteration and the ability assist other to do so
• Strong portfolio of relevant work experience showcasing a variety of art styles
• Expert knowledge of industry-standard vector art, design and collaboration software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, XD), Figma, Miro, etc.
• Experience with game engines such as Unity 3D and Unreal Engine
• Senior level UI graphics skills and expert understanding of the art and design fundamentals (colour theory, layout, padding etc.)
• Understanding of edge cases, and knock-on effects and development cost of design ideas
• Problem-solving skills
• College diploma or bachelor's degree in interactive design, graphic design, game development or equivalent experience

Bonus points!

• UX design skills
• Experience with scripts and / or Unreal blueprints
• Motion design and animation experience
• VFX experience
