Software Tester / Quality Assurance Specialist
At DeepSight, the C++ Software Developer will :
- Develop testing strategies for the DeepSight Software Suite that involves Smart Glasses (Hololens 2), Web Apps and Mobile Native App.
- Perform manual tests, report problems encountered, verify defects when fixed, and document test procedures to verify problem fixes.
- Create automation of tests within our CI / CD system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
- Recommend and introduce new optimization initiatives and feature improvements.
- Setup and maintain various test environments.
- Perform Quality Control and testing of software.
- Produce and maintain documentation, logs and reports of issues encountered.
- Write and maintain all test scripts.
- Participate in sprint reviews and continuous software training activities (weekly quizzes, brainstorms, etc.).
Don’t hesitate to apply if you have :
- Post-Secondary school education in Computer Science / Software Engineering.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Experience creating and executing software / hardware tests.
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages (ie. Python, C#).
- Experience with Quality Tests of various Applications : Smart Glasses, Web and Mobile Native.
- Passion for AR / VR / XR technologies.
- An ease of using the GitLab suite of tools.
- A burning desire to learn new technologies.

- A self-drive to work with a team and have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage assigned work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Competencies with software testing / automation :
- Software testing with Smart Glasses (Hololens 2).
- Software testing with Web Apps.
- Software testing with Mobile Native Apps.
- Test automation (ie. CI / CD).
- Python.
- GitLab.
- Experience with AR hardware.
