Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate information regarding ocean reefer imports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, customs, and rates) to ensure the smooth movement of freight.
  • Book, track, and manage shipments.
  • Manage clients accounts and adhere to all their requests and requirements.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documents.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, including delays, damages, or missing cargo.
  • Provide proactive updates to clients regarding the status of their shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, including customs requirements.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in ocean imports.
  • Excellent bi-lingual English and Spanish, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and freight procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
