We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and process bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Pack goods securely for shipment and affix identifying information and shipping instructions to each package.
- Document and prepare invoices and work orders accurately.
- Obtain special permits and necessary documents for international cargo transportation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of shipments and inventory.
Qualifications :
- Proficient in computer and technology use, including database and inventory control software.
- Experienced with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in shipping or a similar role is preferred.
