Responsibilities
- Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble / disassemble, order parts for, and repair of John Deere and competitive compact construction and construction equipment as required.
- Use computer applications and information systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
- Participates in required Service JDU (John Deere University) Training programs.
- Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the service office and documents on work order.
- May be required to discuss technical items and repair details with customers.
- May be requested to support customer product clinics.
