The Marketing Operations Manager sits within the Canada Business Marketing team focused on connecting industry insights, platform performance, cultural touchstones and audience needs to scale our point of view across channels.

This individual brings in a general business understanding, media experience and awareness of the advertising and content ecosystems.
They are not afraid to be hands-on and are ready to roll up their sleeves to help build and implement new processes and tasks to keep programs running smoothly, ultimately helping accelerate growth of TikTok for business solutions.
They are first and foremost a visionary strategist; a gifted storyteller, with the ability to concept creative ideas with brand objectives and target consumers in mind.
They have an appetite for learning and are comfortable working outside their primary skill set and comfort zone. Responsibilities- Support the creation and publication of content for TikTok Canada’s B2B channels including newsletters, case studies, social, and publications- Lead post-campaign and event measurement strategy and tracking, highlighting business impact, identifying key learnings, and optimization recommendations- Support sales teams with external relationships with key clients who are executing programs and campaigns - Develop and manage a B2B marcomms editorial calendar to organize and guide all internal and external communications that activate brand narratives through a mix of content, partnerships, and campaigns- Analyze content performance and use data to inform ways to optimize and innovate new formats- Support department on admin and operational day to day support including status documents, internal outreach, sales trackers, customized sales tool kits, deck builds and communication updates - Build strong partnerships with cross-functional partners amongst GBS, GBM and XFN partners internally - Create and distribute internal communications, including but not limited to bi-weekly newsletters and team updates for the org - Support cross-functional teams for the execution of go-to-market programs including hosting kick off calls, managing workback schedules, ensuring deliverables and deadlines are all met to execute with excellence- Support a diverse portfolio of event activations that create a differentiated experience - from mainstage opportunities, to large industry tentpole and vertical-specific conferences as well as owned clients summits - Manage all payable needs for department including invoicing, billing, deadlines for contracts - Regularly contribute to creative brainstorming and package development for department - Work with regional and global operational teams to drive synergistic efficiencies for the business - Understand internal processes and tools (TikTok and ByteDance) and manage documentation for the team- Learn digital media sales business and TikTok's specific value proposition
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum 5 of experience in partnerships, media, advertising, tech and / or marketing- Must be both a creative yet analytical thinker with some experience using data and insights - Proven track record of delivering creative and effective campaigns, from concept to completion - Excellent organizational and time-management skills and an ability to manage multiple initiatives with shifting priorities while adhering to tight deadlinesExperience and confidence in partnerships and relationship building, engaging with various key stakeholders - Understanding of media best practices to foster an environment of learning, experimentation and innovation- Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and technology- Strong writing, note-taking, and communication skills necessary Preferred Qualifications- Always Day 1 mentality- Natural curiosity for the media and entertainment industry with a passion for content - Self-starter who is able to keep themselves motivated in a fast-paced environment, comfortable and familiar with navigating large, matrixed organizations and not afraid to ask questions
