Our client is a diversified private equity organization. The position of Senior Manager, Acquisitions & Accounting involves overseeing various aspects of financial management and acquisitions.
Key responsibilities include :
Special Projects & Due Diligence :
- Conduct due diligence and review financial models.
- Evaluate Confidential Information Memoranda (CIM).
- Prepare documents for financing requirements.
- Manage banking requirements (KYC / AML, new accounts, etc.).
- Handle post-acquisition transitions and integration.
Financial and Operational Oversight :
- Ensure accurate acquisition accounting, including post-closing adjustments.
- Prepare and review financial statements for acquired entities.
- Work with vendors, accountants, and lawyers to manage acquisition records.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Experience in acquisitions accounting, critical thinking, problem-solving, and deadline management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Public accounting experience, knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, and familiarity with Canadian tax rules are assets.
