Project Control Officer - Senior : On behalf of our Public Sector client, Procom is searching for a Project Control Officer - Senior for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. Project Control Officer - Senior - Job Description : This role involves supporting project managers and teams in delivering key project components within the public healthcare sector. The Project Control Officer will coordinate, plan, and communicate project details, ensuring that deliverables meet business needs on time and within budget. Project Control Officer - Senior - Responsibilities :

• Provide assistance to project managers and the project team in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components.
• Manage project / work plans, tracking, and analytics for program / project execution.
• Create and maintain management dashboards and executive summaries.
• Support coordination of high-profile projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
• Track project scope, timelines, and costs using OPS project management tools and frameworks.
• Communicate with ministry staff and external partners to support relationship management.
• Gather and document project requirements and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Coordinate with team members to clarify roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets, including estimates and reconciliations.
• Use project management tools to record and report project data accurately.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and updates.
• Monitor project progress and timelines, and report on delays or risks / issues.
• Prepare regular status updates and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Support the development of business transformation and adoption plans. Project Control Officer - Senior - Mandatory Skills :
• Experience with Agile project management and development practices, including managing the backlog and sprint planning.
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, or Microsoft DevOps Azure.
• Experience working with federal / provincial / broader public-sector healthcare providers.
• Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Ability to provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Project Control Officer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills :
• Knowledge of the provincial immunization system.
• Experience with integration of Clinical IT Systems.
• Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture artifacts and processes.
• Knowledge of Information Management principles and practices.
• Scrum Master certification. Project Control Officer - Senior – Assignment Length : This is a contract position that will expire on March 31, 2026, with possible extensions based on unused days / funds. Project Control Officer - Senior - Start Date : ASAP Project Control Officer - Senior - Assignment Location : Toronto, ON, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work.
