The Job!

Reporting to the Manager of Compliance Services, you are responsible for being the subject matter expert in payroll compliance.

Your duties will include but are not limited to :

  • Maintaining updated knowledge of best practices in payroll as well as legislation and standards
  • Reviewing best practices, identifying areas of concern, and implementing process improvements
  • Responding to payroll inquiries both internally and externally
  • Escalating complex payroll issues to the Manager as required
  • Supporting various programs and initiatives and ensuring alignment with member needs
  • Assisting with Government advocacy efforts
  • Communicating on various platforms regarding payroll legislation across Canada
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency
  • Planning and facilitating payroll training
