The Job!
Reporting to the Manager of Compliance Services, you are responsible for being the subject matter expert in payroll compliance.
Your duties will include but are not limited to :
- Maintaining updated knowledge of best practices in payroll as well as legislation and standards
- Reviewing best practices, identifying areas of concern, and implementing process improvements
- Responding to payroll inquiries both internally and externally
- Escalating complex payroll issues to the Manager as required
- Supporting various programs and initiatives and ensuring alignment with member needs
- Assisting with Government advocacy efforts
- Communicating on various platforms regarding payroll legislation across Canada
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency
- Planning and facilitating payroll training
