As a Coordinator Accounts Payable working in the Operational Support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations of the business. Supporting our large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $ million to upwards of $1 billion – you will have the opportunity to manage the Accounts Payable Department's central function team and ensure its efficient, high-quality work.
What you will do
- Lead and inspire the department's core team, driving productivity and engagement.
- Uphold and refine departmental administrative procedures and corporate policies.
- Coordinate seamlessly with agents and clerks to streamline invoice processing and elevate service quality to suppliers.
- Review and authorize transactions and payments for invoices and expense accounts with precision.
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging monthly, providing insightful reports to management.
- Offer expert support to the accounts payable team on complex issues, fostering problem-solving and growth.
- Drive the adoption of innovative procedures and technological tools to enhance accounts payable efficiency.
- Generate comprehensive management reports to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
