Training Coordinator

Overview of responsibilities Create and implement training programs for newly-hired employees based on the Training Matrix Organize the local trainings (OSG e-learning, Orientations, etc.
- Ensure that internal trainers use the official Attendance form and that external trainers' attendance sheets display the topic, the trainer's name and signature, the date, the time, the location and the employee's name, job title, ALPS ID# and signature;
- Liaise with HR in order to record Alstom's employees trainings in ALPS; Keep track of all completed trainings (Alstom and contractors) in the Training Tracking database for reporting purposes;
- Keep proof of training for the entire Maintenance team (Alstom employees and contractors); Identify ongoing re-certification needs and organize re-certification trainings as required, and at least twice a year in January and July;
- Liaise with HR to organize ongoing staff development trainings; Maintain and update the Training Matrix when applicable;
Maintain the local Training catalogue in alignment with learning orientation given by HR and with sourcing guidelines and negotiated contracts when applicable.
Generate weekly KPI's for weekly team meetings Required Skills / Qualifications : High school diploma 2-4 years of administrative experience and in Excel spread sheets 2-4 years experience in Microsoft office programs, Word, Publisher and powerpoint As a global business, we're an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 70+ countries we operate in.
