We are looking for an Analyst (Health & Benefits) for our Vancouver Office!
As a member of our Health and Group Benefits division you will provide management of the financial analysis for more complex and / or larger clients.

The Business
Our Health and Group Benefits division provides a full range of consulting services to large, mid-size and small clients.
These services include but are not limited to providing :
- Solutions encompassing creative plan design, vendor evaluation and management;
- Pricing and funding strategies;
- Compliance and governance strategies;
- Due diligence of group health plans;
- Benchmarking analysis;
- Redesign of group benefits plan to realign with client’s benefit philosophy;
- Assistance for global clients with Canadian operations;
- Act as intermediary between clients and insurers.
Your day as an Analyst
As an analyst, you will be working directly with our senior analysts and consultants on various projects for medium and large size clients.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Understand various insurance products and services included in employee benefits programs;
- Understand the projects required to support the management of employee benefits programs;
- Establish relationship with colleagues, external partners and client teams;
- Review insurance contracts, benefits booklets and collective bargaining agreements to ensure accuracy;
- Prepare technical and financial analysis such as renewal, experience projection, financial reconciliation, as required;
- Draft reports and presentation as required.
Our ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Accounting or related field;
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills; strong command of Excel;
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment;
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
The expected salary for this role ranges from $55,000 to $75,000. Annual salary will be determined by factors including prior experience, location, business segment, and relevance of the candidate’s skills to the role.
