Our client is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst for a remote role. In this position, you will support the oversight and integrity of RESL's appraisal process to ensure sound collateral against the residential mortgage book of business.
Pay Rate : $29.92 - 30.68
Working hours : Monday-Friday, core business hours

Responsibilities
- Review residential appraisal reports for accuracy, descriptive content, and adherence to credit policy and appraisal standards.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex, high-risk property appraisals, ensuring sound collateral management.
- Ensure appraisal reports align with the organization's risk appetite and meet regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and consult on property risk triggers and Terms of Reference documents to maintain high-quality appraisals.
- Support quality assurance efforts to ensure vendor appraisal reports meet both internal and appraisal standards.
Qualifications
- A Certified Residential Appraiser (CRA) or equivalent designation is a mandatory requirement, with a minimum of five years of experience as a designated appraiser completing various residential inspections.
- Expert knowledge of Residential Appraisal standards through experience as an appraiser with a proven track record of professional practice
- Strong risk management acumen to ensure appraisals are completed in adherence to CUSPAP or equivalent standards
- Takes ownership and manages appraisal escalations that require specific appraiser expertise and knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills
