We are hiring for a AWS Cloud Security Engineer in Canada. Listedbelow is the job description. To qualify for this fulltime permanent / (T4 Hourly) position you mustreside within the borders of Canada.

Responsibilities :

Monitor evaluate and maintain systems and procedures tosafeguard infrastructure databases and Webbasedsecurity.

Identify integrate monitor and improve infoseccontrols by understanding business processes.

Assist indefining security requirements and review of system to determine ifthey have been designed to comply with established securitystandards.

Help in developing new standards asnecessary.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitorsystems for potential security concerns.

Design andconfigure infrastructure systems to help mitigate findings andimprove security posture.

Assist with securityarchitecture reviews and conduct threat modeling exercise as newproducts and features are rolled out.

Research securitytrends new methods and techniques used in unauthorized access ofdata in order to preemptively eliminate the possibility of systembreach.

Respond to alerts from information securitytools and triage and analyze potential security issues troubleshootsecurity system and related issues.

Collaborate andmaintain relationships with various engineering teams across theorganization to communicate and remediate security issues in atimely manner.

Educate engineering teams on securitybest practices and promote security by design.

Ensurecompliance with regulations and privacy laws.

SkillsRequired :

Minimum 5 years ofexperience working in security or related industry.

Proficient in one or more programming languages such as React Python Ruby etc.

Minimum 2 years ofexperience in secure coding / development.

Effectivecommunication skills and experience collaborating with engineeringteams.

Have a deep understanding of common Infrastructure security vulnerabilities.

Demonstrated expertise in the Infrastructure security domain.

Understanding of Infrastructure security in the context of SDLC andCICD.

Experience working in all parts of theInfrastructure lifecycle.

Effective in communicatingsecurity vulnerabilities to key stakeholders.

CloudSecurity Certifications like AWS Certified SecuritySpecialty is preferred.
