We want to meet you!Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the nature of this newly created role at Mitchel Lincoln is to bridge the gap between the customer service and production planning teams to optimize the 0 12 month demand planning strategy among our customers and partners.
Responsabilités : Develop planning strategies and analyze weekly data.Develop measurement systems to enhance forecast accuracy.
Gather all information relating to demand over a 0 to 12-month horizon (forecasts, statistics, promotions, sales, etc.), for the five Mitchel Lincoln Group plants.
Develop strategies to smooth demand and meet both client needs and internal prerequisites.Optimize production planning by working closely with production, customer service and the sales team.
Follow up with production closely on any increase in the required production or storage capacity to avoid potential delays to the established forecast.
Identify solutions to improve the supply network using the data collected.Ensure that production priorities are met by keeping track of the schedule and making any necessary changes, taking into account incomplete orders and new priority orders.
Ensure proper management of client volume forecasts.Implement best practice processes by identifying constraints and creating quantified scenario plans.
Perform all other related tasks.Exigences : Bachelor’s degree in operations management, SCM or industrial engineering, or any other combination of relevant training.
Five to seven years of experience in production planning at a manufacturing company.Advanced knowledge of statistics.Ability to work with forecasting algorithms.
High level of French and English (spoken and written in order to communicate in English with Atlantic Packaging employees, suppliers and potential or current clients).
Proficiency in Office suite : Excel (advanced).Strong computer skills.Reliability, autonomy and team spirit.Own a vehicle to travel between divisions.
