Job Title : Senior Software Developer- Front End

Location : Toronto, ON

Duration : 4-month Contract

Work Type : Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)

Pay Range : C$650 - C$700 / Day

About the Role :

We're seeking a talented Senior Front-End Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative front-end solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement user-friendly and visually appealing user interfaces
• Translate technical specifications into functional, tested applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends

Required Skills and Experience :

• Front-End Technologies : Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks like Angular or React
• Design and UX : Experience in creating responsive, cross-browser compatible, and accessible user interfaces
• Web Development : Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and server-side rendering
• Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Collaboration : Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile development environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

Desired Skills :

• Experience with AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards
• Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx)
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma, Cypress)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
