About the Role!
We are looking for an experienced technical product owner to work closely with the client and development team to bring the product to life.
You will be working in an engineering-oriented fast-paced environment, with minimal management and detailed task definition.
You need to be a self-starter and excel at making your own decisions and organizing your work according to the declared goals.
This is a hybrid position (office location in Burnaby).
You will :
- Act as a liaison between end-users, client stakeholders, and development team
- Work with the Product team to write detailed user stories for all new product features and enhancements
- Interprets and translates complex requirements into functional specifications
- Specifying acceptance criteria for each user story
- Lead initial requirement gathering, break down user stories, own technical collaborations, and refine product backlog
- Work with Development team to assess and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in the product
You have :
- At least 5 years of related experience in the tech industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Keen ability to identify user's needs and incorporating them into the product
- A strong understanding of Lean, Agile, and Product Management best practices, product design thinking and usability heuristics
- Ability to prioritize activities
- Self-directed; able to own your work and be accountable
- Must be a resident of Canada and be eligible to work in Canada

- Bilingual : English & Mandarin
- Experience in the video games industry
