Our client is looking for an Accounting Technician with at least 2 years of experience to join a dynamic team in South Ottawa.

Responsibilities

Assist in Bank and / or Visa Reconciliations.

Assist in preparation of monthly and annual accounting reports and tax filings.

Process full-cycle accounting entries into the system.

Assist and support Invoicing clerk and Accounts Payable where needed.

Assist in budget preparation.

Assist in maintaining job files / filing system and converting paper documents to electronic files.

Light reception duties on rotational basis.

Other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Excellent teamwork and team building skills.

Intermediate level understanding of accounting concepts.

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, and government agencies.

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite, mostly excel.

Bilingualism an asset

Previous experience in any accounting or ERP system considered and asset.
