Shift Available :

Monday to Thursday Day Shift 6 : 00 AM to 5 PM

What will you be doing in the Production Utility position?

Operating Responsibilities :

• Prepping of bottom dunnage and crossers for production finished lifts.
• Ensure daily production continuously meets the requirements of IFOTIS (In full, On Time, In Spec).
• Repairing board supplier skids in preparation for the return.
• Draining and prepping paint / wastewater totes for return.
• Maintain supplies rack in a neat and organized fashion.
• Plant tasks (hog scrap carts, sweep floors, general cleaning, etc.).
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervision / management.
• Engaged in supporting MPS initiatives (i.e., Safety, SMED, Continuous Improvement, 6S, etc.).
• Lead by example to ensure Metrie’s core value is met; P.R.I.C.E (Passion, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence).
• Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude while treating all other colleagues and associates with respect.
• Promoting teamwork while keeping colleagues motivated and working efficiently.

• Provide communication back to the supervision team when necessary.

Physical Demands :

• Frequent : Walking, Bending Forwards.
• Occasional : Standing in the same location, Sitting.
• Constant : Standing.
• Lifting : Floor to the waist, waist to floor.
• Pushing / Pulling : Frequent when relocating production carts, and prepping dunnage materials.
• Hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity : Picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and repetitive rotation.
