Are you a seasoned project coordinator with a passion for driving transformative initiatives in healthcare? We are seeking a skilled professional with over 5 years of experience managing complex projects to join our Burnaby healthcare client on an initial 6-month contract.

As part of their team, you will play a role in supporting the design and delivery of digital health tools and platforms across British Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with all project team members, such as Program Director(s), Portfolio Manager(s), and Project Manager(s) to provide support for multiple projects.
  • Responsible for preparing high-quality project artifacts and related presentations (e.g., Project Charters, business cases, briefing notes, monthly reports, etc.).
  • Assist with project administration deliverables (e.g., budget tracking, schedule updates, project closeout documentation, etc.).
  • Participating in a variety of meetings by scheduling, drafting agendas, gathering background documents, attending and recording proceedings, preparing and distributing minutes and tracking follow-up action items.
  • Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure delivery success, including successful management of risk and dependencies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a project / program coordinator.
  • Previous experience with complex projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce concise, structured and well written documents and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheets, word-processing, PowerPoint and other software at an intermediate level.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Confluence and JIRA.
  • Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced priority driven environment.
  • Experience balancing competing priorities and deliverables.
  • Exceptional level of professionalism; personable, approachable and courteous.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail including awareness of downstream effects of actions.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deliverables and solve problems.
  • Self-starter, proactive and solutions oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to change and tolerate high stress levels.
  • Experience working within the Health Authorities or the Ministry of Health is preferred.
