Voyago is currently recruiting for Full Time and Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants in Windsor, Ontario.
The Patient Transfer Attendant in Windsor is a unionized position.
Your Role
- You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher / wheelchair to / from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
- You can provide outstanding customer service
- You have excellent communication skills
Requirements
Your Profile
- You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
- You have a Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C)
- You possess a valid G class driving license.
- You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
- You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening
- You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of : MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1)
- must be valid within last 12 month.
- You have successfully completed High School or can provide proof of equivalency or post-secondary diploma
