Position Scope :
We are looking for an exemplary Program Manager who will oversee the process definition, implementation and monitoring of FPS’s global project management office.
Key responsibilities :
As a Program Manager, you will :
- Develop PMO strategies that align with the overall company strategies
- Advise and implementation in workflow efficiencies to increase FPS’s project and portfolio output.
- Work with internal stakeholders to define project processes, templates, documentation and project deliverables.
- Create training programs to educate employees of newly developed processes to ensure proper implementation
- Monitor and audit the PMO to ensure executed processes and documentation are aligned with the FPS project process
- Perform process retrospectives to ensure process are up to date with the company structures and strategies and align with industry best practices
Qualifications and abilities :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent
- 3 years of project management or program management experience in the manufacturing or food processing industry
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Accreditation is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to approach technical and logistical problems from concept to completion
- Extensive understanding of a corporate structure, company strategy, project management processes, interdepartmental relationships and workflows
- Ability to travel to company divisions in Canada, USA, the Netherlands, Brazil and China as needed (up to 10%)
