Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Program Manager within our Program & Construction Management group who has a background in large infrastructure programs, preferably Water / Wastewater.
The successful candidate will possess fifteen or more years of progressive experience in a program and project management role.
This is a key position requiring excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team to successfully deliver major capital projects. As a Program Manager in Stantec you will lead a team and ensure adherence to the mission and objectives of the assigned program. You will have leadership responsibility for an integrated program team composed of both client and consultant staff.
Duties of the Program Manager include client coordination, providing day-to-day guidance to multi-disciplined teams in a co-located Program Management Office (PMO) environment, typically located at a client facility. You will assist owners / clients with execution of the program, addressing strategy and delivery challenges and supporting internal client departments as may be required.
The Program Manager oversees all services provided by an integrated team, including but not limited to : general program and project management services (scheduling, cost controls, risk management, change management, document control, interface management, engineering management etc.), preliminary design, subject matter expert technical support on projects, regulatory and permitting support , technical studies to support planning and design efforts, procurement of design and construction, construction management, operations & maintenance liaison, operations and maintenance readiness, community outreach and communications, project and program delivery strategy, funding strategy and training / knowledge transfer. The Program Manager is responsible to track and manage delivery performance (cost, schedule, quality) on each Project and the overall Program. He or she will work collaboratively with an integrated consultant / client staff based in the client's office within the Greater Toronto Area.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
