AltInteriors is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Managerto oversee the efficient and effective functioning of our stagingand design operations.
The ideal candidate will be a strategicthinker with strong leadership skills a passion for processimprovement and a dedication to delivering exceptional service toclients.
Responsibilities :
- OperationalOversight : Lead and manage all aspects of the daytodayoperations ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across stagingdesign and administrativefunctions.
- EventManagement : Ensure the team has needed resources topresent the business at a variety of conferences and events andbuild spreadsheets of upcoming events and networkingopportunities.
- TeamLeadership : Provide leadership and direction to theoperations team including staging coordinators designersadministrative staff and warehouse personnel.
Foster a culture ofcollaboration accountability and continuousimprovement.
ProcessImprovement : Identify opportunities to streamlineprocesses optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Implement best practices and standards to improve productivity andquality of servicedelivery.
ProjectManagement : Oversee project scheduling resourceallocation and coordination to ensure timely completion of stagingand design projects.
Monitor project progress and performanceproactively addressing any issues or challenges thatarise.
- VendorManagement : Establish and maintain relationships withvendors suppliers and contractors. Negotiate contracts managevendor performance and ensure compliance with quality standards andtimelines.
- InventoryControl : Manage inventory levels of staging materialsfurniture and d cor items. Develop and implement inventorymanagement processes to optimize stock levels minimize waste andreduce costs.
- BudgetManagement : Develop and manage operational budgetsensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence tofinancial targets.
Monitor expenses analyze variances and implementcostsaving initiatives asneeded.
Qualifications :
- Provenexperience in operations management preferably in the interiordesign construction or relatedindustry.
- Strong leadership skillswith the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieveexcellence.
- Excellent organizationaland time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks andmeet deadlines.
- Strategic thinkerwith a focus on process improvement and operationalefficiency.
- Strong analytical andproblemsolving abilities with a keen attention todetail.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith internal teams and externalstakeholders.
- Proficiency in projectmanagement tools / software is aplus.
- Knowledge of inventorymanagement principles and bestpractices.
- A love for fashion anddesign.
