Assembler - Evening

ASSEMBLER - EVE ( 3 : 30 pm - 12 : 00 am)

Carfair Composites is a leader in fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) design and composites technology and has dedicated team members located in facilities between Winnipeg, MB (Canada), St.

Cloud, MN (USA), and Anniston, AL (USA), Wausaukee, WI (USA) and Gillett, WI (USA).

Position Summary

About the Role : As an Assembler, you'll be responsible for efficiently assembling high-quality products using hand tools, following safety protocols, and working in a collaborative team environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

• Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
• Assemble fiberglass parts and install hardware based on blueprints.
• Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on fiberglass components.
• Cut, sand, and finish fiberglass parts to meet specifications.
• Document product non-conformities and issue Non-Conformance (NCP) tags.
• Train and support team members as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to safety

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :

• Experience in using power tools and manual tools, especially in an assembly or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with working on fiberglass or similar materials is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues during the assembly process.
