What you’ll do here :
- Join a team with high visibility and a multitude of stimulating challenges.
- Be interested in building a DevSecOps platform (DevSecOps as a service).
- Lead the vision and evolution of automated integration and continuous deployment solutions.
- Translate this vision into clear team and individual objectives and into a clear, innovative and inspiring technological roadmap, in collaboration with your software development colleagues
- Ensure the performance, quality, security, monitoring and support of solutions and tools delivered.
- Develop and monitor team progress and share feedback with them.
- Develop productive and committed teams, by promoting the development of personal and technical skills. Coach team members in their career development
- Act as primary technical contact with other technology teams.
- Work with the team to determine the technical feasibility and ensure the highest quality product possible. Identify opportunities to reuse and optimize components.
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure that all initiatives have the appropriate resources, balancing the needs of the company with the experience and professional aspirations of each team member.
- Actively work to develop strategies to suppress ineffective or unnecessary processes, while mitigating the risk.
- Continuously evolve development practices, tools and processes in order to increase the autonomy and efficiency of teams, and ensure that they can meet the objectives of our digital leadership.
- Manage day-to-day operations as well as a strategic roadmap in an efficient way, managing several different subjects at the same time.
What you bring to the table :
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- A few years of experience in resource management.
- Excellent understanding of the software development cycle.
- Solid experience in delivering Agile / Scrum products in software development.
- Good command of the following concepts : CI / CD, Infra as Code, Blue-green deployment, A / B Testing.
- Excellent command of modern DevSecOps tools : Kubernetes / Openshift, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Nexus, ELK.
- Good knowledge of cloud environments, like AWS.
- Experience with Dynatrace, Sensu, etc., monitoring tools (asset).
- Experience with No SQL databases, such as MongoDB (asset).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development.
- Minimum 2 years in a DevSecOps team.
- Minimum of experience in coordinating virtualized infrastructure work.
- Bilingual (French and English) : Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- Passion about automation and continuous integration & delivery of web and mobile software products.
- Stimulated by challenges.
- On the lookout for new technologies, curious and self-taught, active in DevSecOps communities.
- Agent of change and challenge the status quo.
- Excellent popularizer able to explain his ideas to various stakeholders.
- Organized, proactive and a driver of change.
- Comfortable working in a constantly changing technological environment.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
