Job description

As a lecturer in Natural Science, you are responsible for teaching courses to students, creating course programs, correcting student homework. You can teach any of these disciplines, and the following are the skills and concepts that are transmitted :

Structure of Matter
Differential Calculus
Mechanics Physics
Introduction to Biology
General Chemistry
Integral Calculus
Electricity and Magnetism Physics
Diversity of Life

Status : Contract – Upcoming Program

Location : LaSalle College – Montreal Campus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan class sessions;

Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient, and structured manner;

Develop formative and summative assessments based on a competency-based approach;

Administer and grade evaluations;

Monitor each student and encourage their success;

Be available to students to promote their development of the course competency;

Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

You must be legally authorized to work in Canada;

Hold a certificate or university degree or college diploma with a focus or concentration in the relevant discipline;

Teach or have teaching experience in the subject area for a full session within the last five (5) years;

Have worked in a job or profession related to the subject area for at least two (2) years;

Proficient in the language of instruction (French and / or English) both orally and in writing, as well as the technical vocabulary in the second language;

Master the fundamental concepts of the course to be taught and practical applications within the natural sciences.
