Role Purpose :

If you are an experienced HVAC Sales Professional and love to hunt for new business while supporting an existing client portfolio this role is a great fit for you! We are looking for those individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and provide outstanding customer service.

This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future needs of customers.

Role Responsibilities :

• Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary
• Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e. service agreements, repairs and modernizations)
• Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities.
• Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline
• Seek out or respond to repair opportunities
• Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings and how they map to the customers’ needs
• Ability to detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly.
• Responding to the customer requirements in a timely manner
• Ability to consistently achieve sales metrics and Annual Targets
• Effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when required.
• Ability to sell directly to end user customer.

Basic Requirements :

• High School Diploma / GED
• Fluent in English.
• 3+ years experience within the HVAC industry (sales or technical or after sales service), of which 1+ year in the local market (Ottawa / Northeast Ontario).
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements (nice to have) :

Experience in HVAC outside sales with proven track sales experience is preferred.
