About The Role

Weare currently seeking a temporary nanny for a 13month contract toprovide nurturing care for an adorable 18monthold girl in Ottawa.

The role will begin on June 10 2024 near Carleton University. Theyare open to hiring 2 nannies : one for weekdays and one for weekendsor to hire one candidate who is interested in allshifts.

Children

Thefamilys daughter is an active and playful 18monthold who enjoyseating playing dancing talking and watchingcartoons.

CompensationRange

Thefamily seeks a longterm commitment from a nurturing nanny offeringa competitive rate ranging from $20 to $25 per hour depending onthe candidates experience andqualifications.

WorkingHours :

Theexact schedule is yet to be determined. The weekday schedule willbe for 34 hours daily starting in the late afternoon.

The weekendschedule will be for 68 hours starting late morning. The family iswilling to consider applicants interested in either the weekday orweekend portion of the schedule orboth.

Responsibilities :

Engaging with the child in various activities andplaytime.

Providing meals snacks bathing and organizing childrelateditems.

Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning laundry ironing andcooking.

Collaborating with the parents to maintain the childs routine andwellbeing.

Occasionally travel domestically with thefamily.

Requirements :

1 years experience withtoddlers.

Previous nanny experiencepreferred.

First Aid and CPR certificationpreferred

Preference for nanny to either live close by or have reliabletransportation.

Strongreferences

Currently eligible to work inCanada

COVID19 vaccinationpreferred

Thefamily consists of warm and loving parents who are excited towelcome a nurturing nanny into their home. The mother works fromthe home while the father works as a neurologist at the civichospital.

Note that the family will have nanny cams in thehome.
