Job Title : Freight Coordinator
Status : Full-time

Reports to : Manager, Operations
Location : Vaughan, ON
Summary :
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Freight Coordinator will be the main interface between the Warehouse, Freight, Projects and Sales departments.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for monitoring project and sales schedules, as well as to ensure that products are picked, staged, and shipped based on the information provided by the departments.
The successful candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Accountabilities :
- Maintain equipment schedules for each project
- Ensuring all deliveries, pick ups are complete as per schedule
- Provide Project Managers with regular updates on equipment status via Soroc’s internal systems (SPI)
- Liaise with the freight companies, shippers and warehouse staff
- Approve and process the freight invoices
- Equipment reconciliation
- Other tasks as required to assist with completing a project successfully and efficiently
Qualifications & Competencies :
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing or monitoring freights and product shipments required
- Excellent computer, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Excel intermediate to advanced level
- Excellent organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player
- Experience with D2, WMS, SDE an asset
